What does a subscription cost?

We have two special rate plans: 1) $9.95/month and 2) $59.95/year.

What do I get with a subscription?

You have access to 7 complete ASL courses and all new courses in the future. Each course is set up in a weekly format with a lesson and a quiz for that week. Additionally, some weeks have practice quizzes, practice flashcard sheets,  and unit review quizzes. Everything is self paced and graded so you can track your progress in your personal gradebook. All quizzes may be attempted more than once and give you the chance to better your score. Browse the available courses and see the topics for each lesson in the courses. There are Android applications for your phone or tablet that you can download and take on the go.

What equipment is required?

A browser on Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux. We recommend Chrome. Popups must be enabled for the site, cookies are required by the Learning Management system but are never used for tracking personal information. ASLTC can be used with Android, iPad or iPhone .

Where do I access my courses?

After you are subscribed, you login on the front page of ASLTC. You may enroll in courses and they appear on the front page as my ASLTC courses. Click on them to enter or resume where you left off.

Can I use these courses for language credit?

ASLTC does not offer courses for credit. Transcripts are not available. Please check with your school first if they will allow work on this site to be counted for their requirements.

How do I pay?

ASLTC uses only Paypal -- we cannot process cash, checks or credit cards. You can use your credit card or e-check on your Paypal account directly.

How do I cancel?

You may cancel your subscription at any time and use the balance of your subscription until it expires. Cancel by signing in to your Paypal account and ending the recurring payments. There is no need to contact ASLTC.

Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Profile near the top of the page.
Click Profile and Settings (if needed)
Click My money.
Click Update in the "My preapproved payments" section.

How do I resume my subscription if I change my mind?

Keep your username and password.  The system will remember you. When you attempt to sign in to ASLTC after your subscription has expired, the system will take you to Paypal again where you can make the arrangements.

What if I forget my password?

Follow the link for forgot password. The system will email you a link to change your password.

What if I forget my username?

Look in you email for the message the system sent you when you initially signed up for ASLTC.

How to contact ASLTC?

Look in about ASLTC on the main page. If you are a subscriber you can use the "Ask Dr. Bill? feature or the forums to contact us. We are also on Facebook.

Troubleshooting

I've paid and cannot access the site:  First check that you have followed the confirmation email link to activate your registration.  This is very important and you should also check your spam email folder.  Second, are you using the username and password you registered with? If you register multiple times before subscribing this can be confusing.  Last, did you enter your email address correctly?
